After a long week of staying inside sick with a NASTY stomach bug, Easter felt all the more exciting. I am so thankful we were well enough to worship with our church. We woke up to a huge hidden Easter basket. After much searching Hank and Reese found it in the bathtub. They weren't too excited about the practical shoes the Easter bunny brought but thankfully he brought candy too.

Annie and Trent came for the afternoon. We had a delicious meal: Roasted salmon, sauteed carrots, red onions and greens, truffle mac-n-cheese, fresh berries and homemade biscuits. We finished it off with carrot cake and cream cheese icing. Then we went out for an easter egg hunt.

Peter Cottontail Presents! Thanks Gie. Annie did a great rendition of "Here comes Peter Cottontail," while she handed them out.
