This Weekend!

We had a nice lazy saturday morning: Sausage balls and cereal for breakfast, 1-2 hours of cartoons, a couple family games of Sesame Street Memory, letters written to Santa and a complete battle set up in the playroom with pretty much every toy we own from stuffed animals to playmobil and little people.  All this was followed by a busy afternoon.  Corby and Hank went to help a new friend of Corbs coach his sons little league basketball team.  His name is Tony and he is a little Italian guy who plays basketball with Corby 2 mornings a week.  He was asked to coach out of desperation and Tony said yes having no idea about any of the fundamentals of basketball.  Corb said it was a great time.  They rushed home and Reesie and I headed out to a birthday party of a little girl at her school.  The birthday party was at a delicious bakery in the next town over.  We ended with a family trip to Barnes and Nobles and a quiet-ish evening at home.

Here are some funny quotes as of recently:

1.  While writing this Reesie ran up to me and said my brothers just threatened to cut of my dolls bum if I didn't play their game!  Brothers!!!!  Poor Reesie, she already knows more about boys now than I did when I got married.
2.  Yesterday Barnes told our elf he was "very boring" when he found him in the same spot for the third day in a row.  He seems to be a forgetful and somewhat lazy little elf.
3.  Hank said he loves opening presents and that it makes him so happy he feels like he can't breath.
4.  Barnes legitimately beat me, Reese and Hank at memory. We were playing with the whole game so 40 ish cards.  The first time he got a match we all looked at each other in disbelief and then they just kept coming!  It is crazy to see what his little brain can do.

That is all I have for now.  Gotta head and get ready for worshiping with the church this morning!
