I love being 20 minutes from the Atlantic!

60 degrees and sunny today!  A big surprise after we christened our sled this weekend and spent a couple hours playing in the snow.  After Hank and Reese finished school, we ate a quick lunch made a dozen snickerdoodles and headed to the beach.  We spent the afternoon building sandcastles and making mermaids and motes.  Something about the ocean makes me so thankful and peaceful!  We each said a thankful good bye as we left and then ate all the snickerdoodles on the way home :).

Tonight we have community group at our house.  I am thankful for these new friends.  We meet from 6-8 eating dinner and then spending some time praying and studying God's word.

Corby heard of an opening at our local middle school, East Middle, today.  They are looking for an assistant basketball coach. So he is gonna head in and apply tomorrow.  Pray!  In our minds it seems like a great way to get to know our community and have a little street cred.  We don't know all the time requirements but it seems fairly minimal and just for a few months.
