The kids LOVED this activity as there are lots of steps to keep them all interested. Opprortunity to get out energy, make a mess, be creative and get wet. What more could a kid want?!?
First we crushed the chalk.
Then we added water to make paint.

We painted on pans in order to make prints.
Hank loved mixing the colors.

There was lots of cleaning up and I think it was Barnes favorite part :).

the process looks way more fun than the prints. barnes wins--he is SO adorable. can i squeeze him soon???
ReplyDeleteagree. i think we could have done more crushing and made the paint more smooth. perhaps there is even an extra ingredient we could have added for smoothness. i didn't follow a recipe ... just mixed crushed chalk and water?!?
