At least a few times a week we have school time. This means that mom plans an activity and gets out fun (usually messy) supplies to complete it. Today we are exploring music by creating our very own instrument.
First we are writing our own songs ...
Hank names wrote his own arrangement of "Be Our Guest" from Beauty and the Beast.
Then we poured different amounts of colorful water into different sized jars and played our songs. Hank concentrated and played his perfectly reading the notes from left to right.
We had a brief intermission and finished the concert outside in hopes of Barnes being able to finish his nap.
We finished the school day with the Fly Swatter game (as played in Senora Flatts class often at BA). As you can imagine this game is well liked. The teacher says a letter and the students have to hit it as hard as they can with the fly swatter. Of course no one wanted to take turns being the teacher.
