School Time!

Monday September 10th Reesie started preschool at Lollipop Tree preschool in our new town, Braintree.  She has been looking forward to this ever since we visited last spring.  The day before school started she spent a good couple of hours getting ready.  She made a beautiful pillow (really stitched it herself, I just helped with knots and threading the needle), cards and cinnamon crumb muffins for her teachers.  Then she spent a good bit of time thinking through which outfit to wear and finally landed on a jean jumper with a pink shirt.  Fallish but not too hot!  Since Hank didn't start school until tuesday he was able to be with Reesie on her first day of school!  Such fun to have the brothers there for support :).

Hank started school Tuesday September 11th.  He is in Ms. Cataldos Kindergarten class.  We met lots of the kids on Monday at orientation and recognized some from soccer on Saturday.  It was great to have a few familiar faces. Plus the little girl across the street is in his class.  Reese and Barnes were quite happy to walk Hank to the bus stop and see all the neighbors.  I was a little nervous but overall very excited for him and the adventure before him.  So far he is having tons of fun!  Loving the bus and enjoying his new class and teacher.  I am so thankful for both of their schools and look forward to the year ahead of us.

    1. i don't think anyone would know if you took the picture now. you could just write "preschool, sept 2012, and what they want to be when they grow up." my signs weren't really fancy but i think it is fun to track what they want to be when they grow up. :)! xo.

  3. i can't tell you how much I love these pictures; of course with a pinch in my heart seeing those babies. Can't believe Reesie finally gets to go to "Lollipop School". She's been waiting so long. What a sweetie making cards and cake for the teachers! The Hankman will have a great year; the bus I'm sure will be a wonderful adventure every day. Tell Barnes his turn is coming. He gets to be Mommy's boy!! Thanks Rach; so glad you are back blogging and I can follow you! hugs and kisses, D
